Get ready to swing into fun at Best Week Ever Kids as we embark on a Jungle Journey! Best Week Ever Kids is open to kids ages 3 years - 5th grade, and it is free for everyone. July 15-18 from 9AM-12PM, your kids will set off on an epic jungle cruise adventure amid sloths, butterflies, river dolphins, and dart frogs! Each day, your kiddo will journey through Rainforest Recreation, Tree-mendous Crafts, Canopy Cafe Snacks, and most importantly Rain or Shine Bible Time. Through each of these activities, kids will learn core truths of the Bible and how they connect to our lives today. Then, on July 19 at 6:30PM, we would love to invite your entire family to a Jungle Jamboree at Crossroads with dinner, games, surprises, and a recap of Best Week Ever Kids. One thing you can be sure of, Best Week Ever Kids will be an unforgettable Jungle Journey filled with off-the-chart, irresistible fun! MISSION MOMENT

During Best Week Ever Kids, color groups will compete all week to see who can collect the most food for the Good Samaritan food pantry! Here are items they are in need of: Spaghetti, canned meat, canned veggies, bagged oats, cereal, peanut butter, mac & cheese, and canned soup. These items can be brought and dropped off at the beginning and end of each day of BWEK!

FAQs

Drop off for Best Week Ever Kids starts at 9AM each morning. On Monday, the check-in process will take a little longer since it is the first day. Feel free to arrive any time between 8:30-9:00AM on Monday to give extra time to get your kids checked in.
Best Week Ever Kids is free! But while we don’t require payment, we do require registration. Please register as early as possible to help our planning teams!
Yes! We invite everyone to join us at Best Week Ever Kids. We are passionate about teaching God’s truth to kids. No matter where or if you go to church, we would love to have your kiddo for this fun-filled Jungle Journey!
If your child will be missing a day of Best Week Ever Kids, it’s okay. However, we would love for you to communicate that to your kid’s River Guide (group leader) at the start of the week.
Pickup is each day is at 12PM. If you are running late, please communicate this to your child’s color group director. Contact information will be sent to you before the start of Best Week Ever Kids.
If you need to pick your kid up from Best Week Ever Kids, please check in at the Welcome Desk at the front of the main building. Our awesome leaders will take it from there.
Each day, we will have snacks at our Canopy Cafe! We are not providing breakfast or lunch.
We are passionate about keeping your kiddos safe! So if you misplace or forget your family security card, head to the Welcome Desk at the front of the building. One of our leaders will ask to verify your ID.
Pro tip: Take a picture of your family security card on the first day for an easy check-out experience.
At Best Week Ever Kids, we divide kids into color groups based on their grade. If they have a friend that is in their same grade, please note this on their registration and we will do our best to accommodate this. *These requests are not guaranteed.
Each age group will have an assigned color, and we would love for your kid to represent their group color throughout the week! We will also be selling Best Week Ever Kids shirts for $5. Pease make sure your kids are in closed-toe shoes for our Rainforest Recreation and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Best Week Ever Kids shirts will be $5 per kid! If you would like to buy a shirt, you can do this on Sunday, July 14 during our 9 & 10:45AM Sunday morning services. If you can’t buy them during this time, you can get shirts on Monday the 15 when you drop off. Doors open on day 1 at 8:30AM.
To close out our epic Best Week Ever Kids Jungle Journey, we’re hosting a Jungle Jamboree for the whole family on July 19 at 6:30PM. At the Jamboree, we will serve dinner, have games, throw in a few jungle surprises, and give you a glimpse into the fun we had at Best Week Ever Kids. We would love to see your entire family at this event!

VOLUNTEER

Ready to get in on the Jungle Journey fun? We are looking for a crew of passionate River Guides to lead during Best Week Ever Kids! This week will be a high-energy, fun-filled week. Our River Guides will lead July 15-18 from 8:30AM-12:15PM. Additionally, we would love your help at our Jungle Jamboree on July 19 at 6:30PM. As you prepare for Best Week Ever Kids, we encourage you to pray over the week, the kids we will interact with, families we get to build relationships with, and that God would be glorified through it all. We encourage you to be ready to spiritually lead kiddos during this week! Our goal is to teach the Gospel to every single kid that walks through the door...and to have the BEST WEEK EVER!

If you are volunteering for Best Week Ever Kids and have children that are too young to participate, we will have childcare for leader kids ages 0-2.

There are lots of ways you can help us guide these wild animals through the jungle:

Group Leaders - these are the River Guides that travel with their jungle explorers everywhere! Each day, you will intentionally build relationships with you group as you journey through Rainforest Recreation, Tree-mendous Crafts, Canopy Cafe Snacks, Treetop Theater, and most importantly Rain or Shine Bible Time.
Pre-K Leaders - these River Guides help guide our 3 & 4 year olds through an age-appropriate Jungle Journey!
Childcare Leaders - these River Guides enable other parents to serve in various capacities by watching their babies and toddlers during BWE Kids.
Rotation Leaders - these River Guides are specialized in Rainforest Recreation, Tree-mendous Crafts, Canopy Cafe Snacks, or Treetop Theater. They ensure that their rotation is ready to go for all the awesome kids that will walk through the door.
Thrive Ministry Leaders - these River Guides assist our kids with special and additional needs to ensure that they are loved, safe, and experience the best jungle journey possible.
Decoration Team - this team will make our journey come to life as they transform Crossroads into a jungle! This team will prepare and work before BWE Kids.
Digital Media - these River Guides will spend their week exploring the jungle to capture the best pictures and videos of BWE Kids.
AV Team - these River Guides are in charge of running lights, sound, and visual aids in various capacities throughout the week.
Cleaning Team - these River Guides help keep our jungle clean throughout BWE Kids and at the end of each day.
Student Leaders - these River Guides are between 6th and 12th grade. They are full of energy and so much fun! Student leaders are able to serve in all of the above areas as well as the Dance Team. To help equip our student leaders for the Jungle Journey ahead, we will host a special training full of helpful tips, tricks, and spiritual discipleship.
